If you visit California and you have some time on your hands, don't forget to visit Oregon. Especially if you like a forest or two. Its just very nice to drive through and very diverse in scenery.
Let me be very brief about the weather yesterday. It sucked monkey balls !! Nothing but rain, rain and rain. And cold. In Holland its 30 fcuking degrees. That's 86 fahrenheit. But I am still having a great time and some rain isn't gonna spoil that.
After reservation of a plain ticket and RailsConf I totally forgot to book a room. That is so not me but there you go. And when it finally hit me it was to late. I also forgot about the Rose Festival that is taking place in Portland. I must have inquired 30 hotels but it was sold out !!

Very much. Yesterday while browsing the rails forum I saw this post 'Room available at RailsConf'. I went apeshit. I got the room and I am one happy camper.
