San Francisco

Going to California always feels a bit like going home. I love this state. Because I am here my blog will be in the english language.

Flight

The flight went very well and I wasn't tired at all. But at nine o'clock local time the lights went out and I got to bed. Woke up at six and got out. Hungry as a horse but nothing to eat I had to wait till 8. Had this great breakfast at 'Mels' on the corner of Van Ness and Polk. Coffee, fresh orange juice, cheese omelet and ruby hash browns. Thats how you start a day.

Local News

Devestating fires in the Santa Cruz and Santa Clara mountains. Horrible. I write about this because I feel for these people who loose everything in one fire. Everything gone. The same with the people that lost everything because of the tornados that are raging the mid states. Also if you are a developer and don't have an external backup you are 'shit out of luck' Clint Eastwood used to say. So let that be a reminder. The weather is ok but its not that warm in Frisco. Things will improve according to the news.

Napa

Last year I drove through this area way to quick. Now I want to enjoy the scenery more and of course enjoy a nice glass of Californian white wine. So next stop will be US 101 north crossing the Golden Gate Bridge to Napa Valley.
