I have been driving like a 'bat out of hell' and it was a blast. Left this morning at 6 am and was at the Cathedral Hill Hotel at 4 pm. Not to bad. Now that Chevrolet Impala doesn't look like a sports car but it drives like a charm. Wasn't tired at all. Now tomorrow I have all day to explore San Francisco. Let's hope the weather is just as good as today.
The weather in Portland sucked. This morning everything was cloudy. And it was cold. Things didn't look well. After driving an hour I ended up in serious fog. Shit. But then some clearings and some sun light. Lucky again? Nope. Clouds. At the gas station the guy told me that behind the mountains everything was clear. Low and behold. Finally the sun. One clear blue sky and temperatures above 80 fahrenheit. That felt very nice indeed.
No not Tiffany's. Every morning it's Wendy's. Now that maybe very predictable and boring but it is so yummy. Coffee, orange juice, scrambled eggs with two slices of brown toast, hash browns and 4 strips of bacon. A breakfast like that will last me till 3 pm before I am hungry again.
It is still very cheap overhere compared to Europe. In the UK its triple. In Holland it is a bit cheaper but not much. I filled her up this morning for $50 dollar. That is such a laugh. That's 32 euro. LOL.
If all goes well I am gonna do something Rails related in SF. I got an invitation from someone. Let you know tomorrow.
